THE SUMMER SLAUGHTER TOUR Makes A Comeback With One Of The Most Extreme Lineup

Earlier this month, THE SUMMER SLAUGHTER TOUR social media accounts have been teasing their remarkable return after a long four year hiatus; which without a doubt kicked some hype up to fans who were desperately waiting for the next one. On April 12th, 2024, the page has made a post confirming that they will be returning to US/Canada this July and August. When I first saw the post, my jaw dropped since I was unable to make it to the previous concerts that were held before the hiatus. This lineup hands down has to be one of the best lineups I've seen all year.

The Summer Slaughter Tour has been around as early as 2007, and has toured across The United States, Canada and even Mexico. Throughout its history, the line up over the years have consisted of metal legends such as The Black Dahlia Murder, Born of Osiris, Suicide Silence, Cannibal Corpse, and many more.

It is the first time VEIL OF MAYA and BRAND OF SACRIFICE will perform complete headline sets together during the mammoth, 21-date run this year.The band will be joined by Gideon, Left To Suffer, Ten56, Tallah, Cabal, and Brat, along with an additional member to be named later. With this massive announcement, vocalist Kyle Anderson from Brand Of Sacrifice shares "We’re so excited to introduce the new age of Summer Slaughter this year with Veil of Maya and this truly awesome lineup of bands! Back in 2019 we were the first band on the bill, so it’s a bit surreal to be here at the top, bringing in the new era of the tour with our first ever full headline set."

To add onto this lineup announcement, guitarist Marc Okubo from Veil of Maya shares "It’s an absolute honor to be back on the Summer Slaughter tour. This tour has been responsible for some of my favorite memories of playing music and some of my greatest friendships. This year’s lineup is amazing and I can’t wait to share the stage with these incredible bands."
