The Acacia Strain have officially announced their thirteenth studio album You Are Safe From God Here. The album will arrive on October 24th via Rise Records and to give fans a taste of what to expect, the band has revealed the first single off the upcoming release, "A CALL BEYOND" along with an accompanying music video.
The band took a break from the touring life in 2024 to work on the upcoming album with the aim to make it as angry and as punishing as it can be. This is The Acacia Strain way, to make music that makes you feel, sad, angry, resentful and even uncomfortable.
"This record unapologetically The Acacia Strain; take that however you want," the band declares. "It's angry, it's sad, it's us. We made a record that made us feel uncomfortable. We hope it makes you feel the same way."

"A CALL BEYOND" is The Acacia Strain doing what they do best, delivering fast, punishing music with the intent to make you feel angry. The recently acquired new drummer Matt Guglielmo delivers unforgiving chops and extreme blast beast that adds to the song's aggressive tone. Vocalist Vince Bennett never fails to impress, delivering vexing lows with furious emotions. Let's not forget the unforgivable low-tuned riffs from Devin Shidaker and Mike Mulholland, delivered with speed and ferocity.
"We had a hard time landing on one song to release first over all the others — it gets more difficult to pick 'one song' every time we put out a new record. We felt 'A CALL BEYOND' was a good introduction to this era of TAS." - The Acacia Strain on "A CALL BEYOND"
Following their innovative dual release of Step Into The Light and Failure Will Follow in 2023, which showcased both their traditional shorter, pulverizing tracks and their expansive, sludgier compositions, this new album promises to push the boundaries of their established ferocity while maintaining the unparalleled heaviness their dedicated fanbase craves. Prepare for an auditory experience that is as punishing as it is profound, a testament to The Acacia Strain's enduring legacy in the realm of extreme metal.
In 2023, the band made a fresh move by releasing their 11th AND 12th studio albums Step Into The Light and Failure Will Follow which showcased their signature short, but crushing songs as well as their more wider-range of heavy compositions. If "A CALL BEYOND" shows anything, it's that you can expect the same thing from The Acacia Strain. While this song vintage TAS, you can for sure expect them to push the boundaries even further and dive deeper into the territories of sludge, doom, and death metal, while retaining the raw, unbridled aggression of their hardcore punk roots.
