Guitarist and vocalist Chase Wilson humorously reflects on the process of creating the album, noting that the last song to be released was one of the first to be written. After numerous transformations, the final version features vocalist Ricky Hoover passionately urging individuals who rely on religion to recognize that they have been misled. The song questions how long it will take for people to realize that they must abolish the lies ingrained in them from a young age.
Ov Sulfur's upcoming Decade of the Swarm Tour marks their highly anticipated return to the stage after their successful co-headlining tour alongside Mental Cruelty, Ghost Bath, and Extermination Dismemberment. This time, Ov Sulfur will be joined by Signs of the Swarm for an electrifying musical journey. The tour lineup also includes the groundbreaking nu metalcore band Cane Hill, the intense metallic hardcore group 156/Silence, and the hauntingly powerful blackened deathcore act A Wake In Providence, adding a touch of gothic flair to the diverse lineup.

Ov Sulfur's debut album on Century Media, titled "The Burden Ov Faith," encapsulates a compelling blend of deathcore, black metal, and metalcore, resulting in a majestic and irresistibly catchy sound. Guitarist/vocalist Chase Wilson humorously describes the album, likens it to the band's 'Oblivion' EP (2021) on steroids, and even playfully suggests that it could be characterized as "Arena Black Metal" in certain moments. The band worked alongside producer Morgoth Beatz (known for his work with Winds of Plague and Scarlxrd) and mix/master engineer Josh Schroeder (recognized for his contributions to Lorna Shore and Tallah) to craft this diverse and expansive album. Furthermore, former Machine Head guitarist Logan Mader captured the guitars and bass, showcasing the collaborative effort that went into creating this sonic masterpiece.
