Hometown shows are always something special, and this one is no exception.
I actually met Myles Kennedy many, many ( MANY ) years ago while waiting outside by the tour buses after a Lacuna Coil concert back when The Knitting Factory was called The Big Easy. At first, I was unsure of who he was. Of course, I had heard of Alter Bridge, but I had never really seen them live. So when he approached, it was none other than Cristina Scabbia herself that educated me, much to my embarrassment. But, we spoke for quite awhile and found out that he was from Spokane, which was something really cool for a younger me.
Fast forward to now, Myles Kennedy hits the road with Tim Montana and Sons of Silver and they make a stop in Kennedy's hometown ( and my own ) of Spokane Washington on February 21st. He recently released his newest album "The Art of Letting Go" his third solo album to date.Â
