letlive. will be comprised of returning members Jason Butler (vocals), Jean Francisco Nascimento (guitars) and Jeff Sahyoun (guitars) with Skyler Acord (Issues) and Sage Webber (Point North) serving as live bassist and drummer. Fans can expect the band to play a career spanning set as well as a “new and exciting experience for our fans”.
“I think this is all happening out of necessity. The boys and I have expressed our need to play letlive. music again based on where we are in our lives individually and how the collective spiritual theme between us has aligned. Also, if you’ll allow me to be presumptuous – I believe the world could use the ll.ove. Besides, soul punx never dies.” - Vocalist Jason Butler
“We came from a time of building an audience in grassroots venues. I am grateful to be able to enter a new chapter of letlive., where our life experiences in the past few years can offer a new and exciting experience for our fans.” - Guitarist Jean Francisco Nascimento
“letlive. represents a part of my life that refuses to be silenced. Coming back to it feels like fulfilling a calling – one that reminds me of why I ever started all of this in the first place.” - Guitarist Jeff Sahyoun
letlive. played their final show on January 18th, 2017 in Auckland, New Zealand and then announced their breakup three months later on April 28th. This marked the end of an incredible 15 year journey for the band it seemed like that would truly be the end. That is, until they started posting cryptic posts on social media last year that would culminate to an announcement of the remix and remaster of The Blackest Beautiful to celebrate its 11th anniversary and another announcement that they would embark on a farewell tour this year.
"After 8 years, we have a lot to talk about. Even more to feel. Grateful for the opportunity to do so. We’ll see you soon.
Sincerely Yours
letlive."
