April 23rd, 2024-Knocked Loose puts fans into shock with a brand new release featuring Poppy known as "Suffocate" via Pure Noise Records, which will be featured on the new upcoming album "YOU WON’T GO BEFORE YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO" which is expected for release on May 10th, 2024. You can pre save the upcoming album here. Knocked Loose resides in Oldham Country, Kentucky and is currently signed to Pure Noise Records. This band is accompanied by Bryan Garris on vocals, Issac Hale and Nicko Calderon on guitars, Kevin Otten on bass, and lastly Kevin “Pacsun” Kaine on drums.
As soon as the song starts, fans are already in for a treat with the heavy chugs in the guitars, tied in with thunderous blast beats on the drums. After the introduction riff, fans are able to hear Garris's and Hale's vocals scream the word "SUFFOCATE". This track drives relentless energy into this song and immediately if this song was performed live, there would be no doubt that there will be a mosh pit due to its high tempo and speed. When the second verse comes in, Poppy adds an intriguing dynamic to the song with her ferocious screams. Her vocals complements Garris's vocals perfectly and at some point, I was unsure of who was actually screaming.
As we make our way towards the breakdown, Poppy takes over and in a creepy voice, leaving chills running down my spine and honestly I have gotten goosebumps while listening to this track. Her creepy, soft tone in her voice slowly transitions to the breakdown where fans are able to hear both Garris and Poppy scream the word "Suffocate". From an outside perspective of this heavy banger, the message behind the song delves into the struggles of those who feel trapped and suffocated by what curve balls life has to offer and the pressure that people may feel on a daily basis.
“It was so fun because her voice allowed us to expand our palette and do some weird, off-the-wall things that we maybe wouldn't do in another song... “We felt that because we had Poppy’s voice involved, it allowed us to kind of push the boundaries of what we thought was feasible.”

Knocked Loose is set to kick off their headline tour across North America this weekend, starting with a performance at Sick New World in Las Vegas. The tour spans both coasts and features two sold-out nights in New York City at Brooklyn Steel and Terminal 5, as well as sold-out shows at Austin’s Stubbs Amphitheater, The Shrine in Los Angeles, and other venues.
