Greyhaven have been making a splash in the hardcore scene. Hailing from Kentucky, they have been in the scene for well over ten years. They have just announced their fourth full length album, Keep It Quiet, which will be released on October 10th. With the announcement, they also shared the first single off the album, “Burn A Miracle”. You can watch the music video for the single here

When talking about the new single and the album, vocalist Brent Mills stated, "Good art is vulnerable," states Mills. "And I felt like an open book on this new record. But that's a scary thing and I wrestled a lot with how much I was opening myself up, and that's exactly what this song is about. I wanted to hide and bury myself in abstractness but that's not how this record wanted to be presented. This song is basically me recognizing that and saying, 'Here I am, here's my truth, take it or leave it.”

The song itself is an amalgamation of different sounds, but it works really well. The song starts off with heavy guitar riffs, which hardcore is known for. Once the chorus hits, it becomes more groovy and dancy, with the chorus guaranteed to get stuck in your head. Even if you don’t like hardcore, there’s a good chance that you will like this song. Greyhaven has a little something for everyone within this song.

The tracklist for their upcoming album, Keep It Quiet is down below. I always like to pick out what I believe will be my favorite song off the album when seeing the tracklist for the first time. I think “Where the Light Leaves Us” will be my favorite.
