Clocking in at a little bit over three minutes in length, "Limbo" is one of the most captivating metalcore tracks I have heard recently. It combines nu-metal with traditional metalcore with heavy synth intros, aggressive vocals, progressive riffs, and a killer production to create an unique experience of questioning reality and feeling the threats of one’s existence.

“Lyrically, "Limbo" delves into the haunting sensation of straddling the line between tangible reality and the relentless pull of forces that threaten to engulf one's existence. It captures the unsettling experience of feeling adrift in the nebulous space where nothing seems concrete, where the once-solid ground beneath your feet begins to dissipate, leaving you questioning the very fabric of reality itself.” - Dylan Dijan on the message of “Limbo”.

FARSIGHT was formed in 2021 and has been described as a band that delivers emotion through grit and energy. The band emerged onto the scene in February 2021 with their debut single “Solace”. The song delivers pure aggression and energy with Northlane - inspired, djent guitar riffs from Devon and Fischetti which are backed up by explosive drums from Kaiser. The music video - directed by Tom J Flynn - has reached over 4.5k views on Y0uTube meanwhile the song itself has over 17.5k streams on Spotify.

On March 26th, 2021, the band released their debut EP Exhume, a six-track EP filled to the brim of panoramic, in-your-face metal. With Exhume, FARSIGHT distinguished themselves from the status quo of metalcore with a sharp combination of melodic and heavy riffs, aggressive drum beats, and vocals with a dynamic range of screams. The band held an EP Release show on October 21st at Amityville Music Hall in Amityville, New York where the band also shot a double live music video for their two songs “Hara Kiri//Brutus”. The music video was also directed by Flynn and is a five and a half minute montage of Amityville Music Hall turning into a battlefield with moshers throwing elbows and kicks in every direction.

Limbo” marks the band’s second music video in this new era, following the release of “Detrimental Chemistry” on March 8th. 2024 is shaping up to be a big year for FARSIGHT as the band is set to hit the road in May for a mini north east run with Massachusetts-based hardcore band Choke Out, stopping in Biddeford, Maine, Plattsburgh, New York, and Feeding Hills, Massachusett. This will then be followed by another mini-run with Destroy//Create which sees the bands hit Wallingford, Connecticut, Lindenhurst, New York, and Claymont, Delaware. FARSIGHT will the be gearing up for a special appearance at the inaugural Summer Scream Festival which will take place on August 17th at The Meadows in Brooklyn, New York. The band will be playing alongside A Skylit Drive, If Not For Me, Dreamwake, Midwinter, Hallow Sanctum and many more.

We’re looking at a big year for FARSIGHT and we can guarantee it will be filled with more new music and plenty of shows. Until then, buy your tickets for any of the upcoming dates, learn the words to “Detrimental Chemistry” and “Limbo” and stay tuned for more upcoming news.
