Current Joys, the solo project of Surf Curse's, Nick Rattigan, has released their second single WILDFIRE ahead of upcoming album ROSEBUD releasing November 6th through Rattigan's own label They Are Evil. WILDFIRE is an incredibly introspective track, with Rattigan looking back on his earlier self-destructiveness through a new, hopeful lens. Rattigan's new perspective on the past, and renewed hope in himself forged the creative direction of the WILDFIRE's accompanying music video, directed by Justin Kaminuma. Kaminuma and Rattigan's combined creative visions crafted a melancholic scene of Nick Rattigan embracing the fire of a burning house around him, with an optimistic ending, with Rattigan gesturing towards the tour, suggesting a more hopeful future is ahead of him.
