Country Star Ian Munsick Releases Live Tribute of Ozzy Osbourne’s “No More Tears”

Wyoming-based country music star Ian Munsick just put out a tribute to the legendary late Ozzy Osbourne, performing his song “No More Tears” live from the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota. He also released a music video to accompany the song, which can be watched HERE.

Much like other country artists such as Billy Strings and Cody Jinks, Munsick attributes many of his artists influences to metal music, pointing to Ozzy in particular.

“When I was 8 years old, I stumbled upon my older brother’s CD collection. I sneakily slid out a black colored album with a small tan cross on top and threw it in my walkman CD player (shout out the early 2000’s). One of the most iconic bass riffs of all time captured my ears right out of the gate, followed by the most recognizable voice in all of Rock n Roll. It was Ozzy’s 1991 hit song ‘No More Tears.’”

-Ian Munsick, country singer

Munsick originally performed “No More Tears” at a show in Nebraska shortly after Osbourne’s passing. The cover went viral and it was decided it would be played and recorded at Sturgis the following week.
