Colorado deathcore giants Crown Magnetar are back with a vengeance, dropping their latest EP, Punishment, through Unique Leader Records. Produced once again by their bassist Mike Sahm, this release keeps up their streak of putting out new music every year, following the 2024 reissue of The Prophet of Disgust. Vocalist Dan Tucker shared his excitement about the release, saying:
"We’re beyond stoked to finally drop our new EP, Punishment, in full. This record gives a taste of what’s next for us, while also bringing back some of the more technical elements that we dialed down on our last LP, Everything Bleeds. Our goal was to push things further—short, vicious, and straight to the point. Catch us on tour with Traitors and Yosemite In Black this spring and blast this EP front to back!"
