On May 23rd at 8:00am, British alt metal band Bring Me The Horizon surprised fans with a teaser trailer of their much-anticipated album, “POST HUMAN: NeX GEn” and announced that the album would drop on May 24th at midnight. Pre-save the album here.
NeX GEn is a continuation of the 2020 album, POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR, which explores a post-apocalyptic world, inspired by the COVID-19 pandemic. NeX GEn was originally set for a 2023 fall release, but due to departure of longtime keyboardist, Jordan Fish, as well as other reasons unknown to the general public, the release was pushed back to indeterminate dates.
The band announced NeX GEn’s release via a video on all socials, which began with visuals of a city after an apocalypse, accompanied by an unreleased song. The visuals would change to show characters walking around in a lab, ending on what looks like the character on the cover of the NeX GEn album, Eve.
The album will include singles the band has previously released, such as Kool-Aid, DArkSide, LosT, sTraNgeRs, AmEN!, and DiE4u. The album will have features such as Underoath, Lil Uzi Vert, Daryl Palumbo and even will feature art pop singer, AURORA.
