For listeners in North America, as of May 26th at midnight, “SOULSUCKER” will be released on streaming platforms. In addition to “SOULSUCKER” being released, Waterparks frontman Awsten Knight posted a video on Instagram of him wearing a t-shirt with what’s speculated to be the track list for the sister album to their last album, “Intellectual Property”, released on April 14th, 2023. The t-shirt Knight wore was available as merch at Slam Dunk, with many tracks being the “sister” of tracks found on Intellectual Property, such as RSDII which is the sister to Real Super Dark (abbreviated to RSD), Brainwashed II, sister to Brainwashed and FAI (feat. Zeph), which is the sister to Fuck About It (feat. blackbear).
The album has not had any official announcement made about it yet, however, fans are hopeful to hear something from the band soon.
