New Constellations share "I'm Waiting Now" video ahead of ACL and fall tour
Portland indie-pop duo New Constellations have released the official video for "I'm Waiting Now", a standout from their debut album It Comes In Waves, out now via Nettwerk. The release arrives ahead of the duo's return to North America, where they will perform on the main stage at Austin City Limits Music Festival on October 2 before launching an extensive fall headline tour.
The atmospheric visual captures the dreamlike quality of New Constellations' music, following front-woman Harlee Case through a series of surreal settings that shift from wood-paneled interiors and shadowy hallways to the edge of a dark, still lake. The imagery echoes the song's themes of longing and anticipation while further expanding the world established by It Comes In Waves.
The video was released during a breakout year for the duo, who are currently on their first UK and European headline tour following a main stage debut at Lollapalooza and a US run supporting The Midnight. In November, the band will appear on the forthcoming Neil Young tribute album Heart of Gold: The Songs of Neil Young, Vol. 3 - Into the Black, contributing a cover of "Unknown Legend".
Following ACL, New Constellations will embark on a coast-to-coast North American headline tour with stops in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York and many other cities. The run will also include a November appearance at Corona Capital in Mexico City.
