Cage The Elephant continues chart dominance with "Beaches In Tennessee"
Cage The Elephant continues its chart reign, with the multi-GRAMMY Award-winning band notching its 14th no. 1 on Billboard's Alternative Airplay chart with "Beaches In Tennessee". The latest achievement adds another milestone to the group's career, as the track simultaneously topped Billboard's Alternative Airplay, Adult Alternative and Rock/Alternative charts, giving Cage The Elephant a rare sweep across three formats.
With 14 Alternative Airplay leaders to their name, Cage The Elephant now sits tied with Linkin Park and Twenty One Pilots for the second-highest total in the chart's history.
The band's momentum has continued to build in recent days. Last week, Cage The Elephant unveiled their latest single "Dying In Reverse", which is set to appear on the EA SPORTS FC™ 27 soundtrack when the game launches worldwide on September 25. The group was also revealed as the musical act for the official NFL halftime show at the Patriots vs. Lions matchup in Munich, Germany.
