Louder Than Life is set to take over the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville from September 17–20 for its 12th year, and 2026 is shaping up to be its biggest edition yet. Producer Danny Wimmer Presents has put together the largest lineup in the festival’s history.
Newly announced headliners Tool and Limp Bizkit will join previously revealed top-billed acts My Chemical Romance and Iron Maiden for four massive days of rock and metal.
Nearly 200 artists across seven stages will perform throughout the weekend, with daily headliners stacked like this:
Thursday: Iron Maiden, Pantera, Megadeth
Friday: My Chemical Romance, Pierce the Veil, A Day to Remember
Saturday: Limp Bizkit, Papa Roach, Sublime
Sunday: Tool, Gojira, Danny Elfman
Saturday will also spotlight one of the most high-profile all-female-fronted stages ever assembled at a major U.S. rock festival, featuring Halestorm, In This Moment, Lindsey Stirling, Orianthi, Icon For Hire, Kami Kehoe, and Diamante. The day will also include the live debut of a mystery band, plus a surprise appearance from one of the biggest modern heavy acts, to be announced later.
Beyond the music, festivalgoers will once again get access to rides at Kentucky Kingdom, which is included with all passes and open exclusively to attendees during the festival.
A new addition for 2026 is the Louder Than Life “Battle For The Big Stage,” a band competition launched by Danny Wimmer Presents. Submissions open March 1 and close March 31, with fans voting during Sunday episodes of the Space Zebra Show** on the DWP Twitch channel leading up to the festival.
Local fans can also hit the official lineup reveal party on February 23 at The Fox Den**, hosted by Bobby Schubenski and Josh Balz of the Space Zebra Show, with live performances, giveaways, custom drinks, merch, and a chance to win free GA passes.
Passes for Louder Than Life 2026 are available now with payment plans starting at just $1 down. Options range from single-day tickets to four-day passes, including premium Angel’s Envy Top Shelf VIP packages. For fans who want the full Louisville festival experience, the Exacta Pass grants entry to both Louder Than Life and Bourbon & Beyond on back-to-back weekends, offering eight days of music for one bundled price.
