GATTINI” was born out of frustration after the band’s music video for their song “Dead Circus” faced widespread bans across multiple media platforms, creating a major obstacle for the band to promote their work. Stain The Canvas does not pull any punches with this defiant track, sharing their true feelings on the suffocating feeling of censorship and emphasizing the importance of maintaining true to themselves as artists. The colorful music video humorously delves into the idea of being forced to uphold a clean, polished look for the sake of the general public, with weapons being transformed into bananas and marshmallows and blood being turned into confetti. This combination of humor and raw lyrical honesty is what makes Stain The Canvas one of the most compelling upcoming metal bands.

About the music video, Stain The Canvas explains:

We wanted to be deliberately ironic about the whole situation. That’s why we made a totally blood-free video, added fake flowers to the same masks we used in “Dead Circus,” and set it all in a colorful, confetti-like context—in total contrast with the song’s extreme lyrics.

Stain The Canvas will be playing select dates in Italy in September with TSS, as well as performing at Core Fest in Germany in November. Get tickets HERE.
