Russian Grizzly In Nashville

ree

Slaughter to Prevail brought their brutal headlining show to Brooklyn Bowl Nashville, just two days after the release of their brand-new album, 'GRIZZLY'. Fans had already started lining up outside hours before doors opened. Known for unleashing some of the most brutal and high-energy performances in modern metal, this was a show that simply couldn’t be passed up.

Pounding hardstyle EDM music rattled the walls, amping the crowd up with each passing second. Then suddenly, silence. The lights shifted and the room erupted. Evgeny Novikov (drums), Mike Petrov (bass), Jack Simmons (guitar), and Dimitry Mamedov (guitar) emergedfrom side stage, wearing their signature demon masks, to a sea of screams. Alex Terrible appeared last, ready to unleash hell with the rest of the band. The setlist hit hard from the jump, kicking off with the brutal new track "Banditos" and charging straight into crowd-favorite chaos with "Baba Yaga", "Viking", and "Bratva": the same song that triggered the legendary Hellfest 2024 Wall of Death.

Crowdsurfers flew overhead and circle pits raged non-stop, fueling the energy of the set and keeping a huge grin on Alex Terrible’s face as he pushed the crowd for even more chaos. About halfway through, Alex paused to catch his breath and share a moment of reflection. He spoke candidly about soul searching, self-growth, and finding inner peace as a path to personal change. Then, without missing a beat, the band launched into "Conflict", and the pit instantly responded into full-blown madness.

After closing with "Kid of Darkness", Alex thanked the fans as the band left the stage. The crowd instantly erupted, demanding an encore and we all know that no Slaughter To Prevail set is complete without "Demolisher". As the breakdown approached, Alex raised his hand, calling for silence. The venue fell quiet. Then, without a mic, he let out that infamous, guttural roar that is just pure, unfiltered, inhuman power.. And the crowd exploded into chaos. As the chaos houselights came on, Alex once again thanked the fans, while Jack handed out setlists to those at the barricade.
