Heavy metal titans Lamb of God are gearing up for a major moment in 2026 as they prepare to unleash their highly anticipated tenth studio album, Into Oblivion. To mark the occasion, the Richmond, Virginia band is bringing the celebration directly to fans with a massive slate of listening parties taking place at independent record stores across the United States during the album’s release weekend.
Arriving March 13 via Epic Records, Into Oblivion will be the band’s first full-length release since 2022 and signals the next chapter for one of modern metal’s most influential acts. Rather than keeping the celebration online, the band has partnered with more than 140 indie record shops nationwide to host in-store listening events from March 13 through March 15, giving fans the chance to hear the album together before or during release weekend.
The participating stores include some of the most beloved names in vinyl culture, such as Amoeba Music, Waterloo Records, Generation Records, Repo Records, and Richmond hometown staple Plan 9 Music.

Beyond simply spinning the record, each event will feature exclusive merchandise and giveaways designed specifically for the listening parties. Fans who attend can expect limited Lamb of God swag, prizes, and the opportunity to pick up a special indie-exclusive “Poltergeist” vinyl variant of Into Oblivion, available only through participating stores while supplies last.
For collectors and diehard fans, the album will also be available in several other formats. Pre-orders are currently live for multiple vinyl variants, as well as a special edition CD that includes a companion zine packed with behind-the-scenes material. The zine offers a deeper look into the album’s creation, featuring early artwork concepts, handwritten lyric pages, and rare studio photography documenting the band during the recording process.
While the listening parties offer a communal way to experience the album, fans unable to attend one of the events can still secure copies of Into Oblivion through the band’s official store, which also carries additional album-themed merchandise.
With more than 140 stores participating across dozens of states, the release weekend events reflect Lamb of God’s continued connection to the grassroots music community that helped shape their career. By partnering with independent retailers, the band not only celebrates the arrival of their tenth album but also shines a spotlight on the record shops that continue to serve as hubs for music discovery and culture.
Fans interested in attending a listening party are encouraged to contact their local participating record store for specific event details, including timing, giveaways, and in-store promotions.
Into Oblivion arrives everywhere on March 13.
