Relentless slamming death metal act Insect Inside has unveiled their next single from the forthcoming album "Reborn in Blight," which drops March 6th, 2026 via Gore House Productions. The latest track, “Fragments,” stands as the band’s most direct and frenzied work to date—delivering a blistering taste of the unfiltered, atmospheric savagery that permeates the entire record.

Ferocious and intentionally uncompromising, "Fragments" captures the essence of Insect Inside’s death metal ethos in a single, explosive track—delivering chaos, relentless groove, and a menacing, claustrophobic aura. Despite its brevity, the song stands as a bold declaration of the band’s sharpened direction: more aggressive, more shadowy, and more visceral than ever before.

“It’s one of the short tracks, but that’s for the better. Here we organically fit everything we like in death metal—chaos, groove, and a sinister atmosphere,” the band explains.

"Reborn in Blight" signals the arrival of Insect Inside’s second full-length album and stands as their most visionary effort yet. Conceived and composed remotely by members scattered across different cities, the album is a true collective achievement, shaped by the input of nearly every band member. According to the group, the record merges groove-infused slam with brooding, brutal death metal, all enveloped in a dense, suffocating atmosphere.

On the lyrical front, the album expands Insect Inside’s trademark world-building, weaving together chilling, apocalyptic tales of humanity’s downfall and the ascension of an insecticide civilization. The thematic tone mirrors the music—when the sound grows more atmospheric, the lyrics follow suit, conjuring vivid, poetic images that gaze fearlessly into the abyss.

Adding to its intensity, the album boasts memorable guest contributions: Mr. Ochoa of Cephalotripsy lends his brutal vocals to the pulverizing single “Abhorrent Landscape,” while Josh Welshman of Defeated Sanity unleashes his ferocity on the relentless track “Hiveborn Abomination.”

In addition to “Fragments,” the album’s earlier singles demonstrate just how diverse and punishing the record will be. “Hiveborn Abomination” stands out as an explosive highlight—racing forward with breakneck speed and a suffocating atmosphere, amplified by Josh Welshman’s (Defeated Sanity) savage guest vocals. Meanwhile, “Carnal Ruins” pays homage to the New York death metal tradition—drawing inspiration from titans like Soils of Fate, Internal Bleeding, and Dying Fetus—with its raw, hardcore groove and unapologetic, bone-crushing aggression.

Born from the depths of Eastern Europe’s underground, Insect Inside rose from the Chelyabinsk death metal scene with a clear mission: to deliver relentless, precision-driven slam. Their early days covering genre classics soon gave way to original compositions, heavily inspired by titans such as Disentomb, Relics of Humanity, Cryptopsy, Defeated Sanity, and Vulvectomy.
