I See Stars and Diamante Steal the Show in Orlando's House Of Blues

As an avid metalcore listener, it is not a stretch to claim that I See Stars was my gateway to the genre. I watched them perform in 2017 at Rock On The Range and everything clicked for me. I became obsessed with music in general, leading to me picking up concert photography. On October 18, they made a stop, as part of Palaye Royale’s Death or Glory Tour, at House Of Blues in Orlando. I See Stars, and Diamante supporting, gave a performance that reminded me why I fell in love with music.

Diamante opened the night in spectacular fashion. I saw Diamante perform in 2019 at Rock Fest in Cadott, WI, and it was incredible to see the improvement in stage presence and confidence. Of all of the performers that night in Central FL, Diamante commanded the stage and the crowd’s attention the most, she had everyone in the palm of her hand. I was overjoyed to hear her perform my favorite from her, “Haunted.” However, her closing song, “All For The Glory,” became a new favorite of mine. "All For The Glory" was one of Diamante's latest singles that was released via Sumerian Records on August 19th, 2024. Before that released before her announcement of joining Sumerian Records was "1987", which both these new singles gives fans such a nostalgic effect from her aesthetic and kind of throwing us back into a time machine into the 80's era of music.

As direct support, I See Stars took stage after Weathers concluded. As mentioned previously, they have been one of my favorite artists for years, and I was overjoyed when they made their comeback from a long hiatus. Their vocalist, Devin Oliver, sounds better every time I see them perform. They performed, primarily, a mix of newer songs combined with some old favorites such as “Ten Thousand Feet” and “Murder Mitten” off of New Demons. However, it was their new singles such as “Split” and “Are we 3ven?” that stood out to me the most. I See Stars was an incredible full circle show for me and if they come to your city, check them out, they are a can’t-miss act.
