EarthtoCheska: The Curtain and Bleach Blonde

EarthtoCheska has given her fans a special double feature with the dual release of her new songs Bleach Blonde and The Curtain. These two tracks sonically couldn’t be more different from one another, but yet they stand to represent both ends of Cheska’s musical spectrum.

BLEACH BLONDE:

Bleach Blonde is a full body rock track, leaning fully into the promises of “Punk Rock Anarchy” Cheska has been promoting on her page for months. With drums that pound right into your skull and an electric guitar that is exactly what you’d crave from a track like this, Bleach Blonde shapes up to be arguably one of the best songs Cheska has released to date. It’s fun, high powered, and feminine, a versatile track that could have you jamming out in your bedroom imagining it’s a live show.

THE CURTAIN:

The Curtain contrasts Bleach Blonde perfectly, being a softer ballad. Instead of punching you straight in the face, Cheska draws upon mellower aspects, taking a moment to showcase her vocals upon layers of synths and acoustic guitar. The Curtain is a sentimental track to Cheska as well, as it’s the first song she ever produced, with a lot of the fundamentals coming from voice memos she had been harboring in her voice memos. It’s a beautiful dedication to loving someone from afar, and would be perfect for all the yearners out there.

What’s special about both of these tracks is they were featured as part of Apple's September Keynote Presentation. As Cheska is both a DIY and Independent artist, being featured on such a widespread project is huge for her career, putting her on the map for those who may be unfamiliar with her work. She’s also been featured on multiple Apple Music playlists and charts, sandwiched between familiar faces such as Halsey. It’s not often to see true ‘underground’ artists partnering with such mainstream companies,
