Nashville welcomed the beginning of Insane Clown Posse's two-week-long tour with open arms.

Juggalos were wrapped around the building as I arrived at Brooklyn Bowl, a midway-themed venue here in Nashville, TN. An amateur DJ was playing a set in the parking lot across the street. Fans were decked out in their best clown paint, luchador masks, tutus, and honestly, anything you can imagine. Security confiscated cans and bottles of Faygo as juggalos made their way into the venue.

Insane Clown Posse's openers consisted of Wakko the Kid and Sammy Sosa, who had relatively short but entertaining sets.
If you aren't familiar with the phenomenon that is Insane Clown Posse's fan base, also known as Juggalos, let me enlighten you. Being a Juggalo is not caring what others think. Being a Juggalo is not just being a fan; it's a way of living. Juggalo culture is comprised of individuals who consider themselves outsiders.

Though not everyone “gets” ICP, what’s undeniable is their commitment to their fans and their world. Love them or hate them, few artists can match the intensity, loyalty, and pure joy that Insane Clown Posse brings to their shows. They have their lingo, calling cards, and even catchphrases. Juggalo culture does not judge. There is no social class. Everyone is family. Everyone deserves clown love.

Insane Clown Posse is a genre-defining horrorcore hip hop duo consisting of Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope from Detroit, Michigan. Joining them is DJ Clay, who runs the DJ booth behind the two clowns.

Insane Clown Posse started their set with "The Show Must Go On" from their hit album Riddle Box. I have never seen a crowd spring to life so quickly, the way this sea of juggalos roared as the hip-hop duo took the stage. Everywhere you look, every clown screams every word and bounces to every beat. Security scrambled to don their plastic ponchos to avoid the tsunami wave of Faygo to come.

The stage set-up is always something to marvel at. Their production team seriously needs a raise. This tour, the letters ICP were giant carnival-style midway lights, Diet Faygo bottles o' plenty.

Highlights of the night included "Cherry Pie (I Need a Freak)" being dedicated to the jugallettes in the crowd, Faygo breaks, where colorfully clad clowns rushed
out to the front of the stage with buckets of Faygo to douse the audience.

It was hilarious to watch folks scramble to not get hit with Faygo, or as juggalos call it, "Juggalo Juice." I, however, was not safe; I got whacked with three 2-liter bottles. I was lucky, however, the clowns also threw entire boxes of Faygo into the crowd.

ICP perfectly encapsulates fan favorite songs and oldies. Typical songs for ICP sets include "Chicken Hunting", "My Axe", "Hokus Pokus," and "Pass Me By." I was elated to hear "Cherry Pie" and "C.P.K.s".
At the end of the set, fans made their way out, but a large chunk stayed behind. I wondered what was going on until I got hit with a massive splash of Faygo. Juggalos were using the wet floors of the Brooklyn Bowl as a massive Faygo slip and slide.

ICP is one of the most fun musical acts in the U.S. Whether you’re a seasoned Juggalo or just ICP-curious, their live show is a spectacle worth experiencing if you’re not afraid to get soaked in soda and get down with the clown.
