Charlie Puth Delivers A Clever Performance In Hamilton

On May 20th, 2026, pop artist Charlie Puth takes the stage at TD Coliseum in Toronto in support of his latest album 'Whatever's Clever!' with direct support from Ally Salort and Daviel Seavey.

As the show began, New Jersey based pop-alt artist Ally Salort was the first to take the stage. Opening for Charlie Puth at such a young age could easily feel overwhelming, but Salort walked onstage with such remarkable confidence as fans were roaring with excitement. Kicking off the night, she opened her set with "Pretty Face", a standout track from her debut EP 'Change Of Plans', released in July 2025. Since her EP's release, Salort has continued building the momentum with new singles "I've Never Met Her", and "Housekeeping".

Her soft, charming vocals immediately set an emotional tone throughout the venue, drawing the audience further into her performance. During her set, Salort also performed "Iris" by The Goo Goo Dolls, which quickly became one of the night's most memorable moments. Fans sang along loudly while some had their phone flashlights illuminating the crowd. Salort has really set the mood, creating such a wonderful atmosphere for the rest of the night.

Next to take the stage was Daniel Seavey, the Portland, Oregon based singer and songwriter who has continued to build an impressive solo career following the disbandment of Why Don't We. In 2025, Seavey released his second full-length solo album 'Second Wind', along with new single "Time to Time (Annie)" in April; further showcasing his growth as a musician. Blending elements of pop and alternative rock throughout his music, Seavey delivered a performance filled with energy and emotionally charged vocals.

Opening his set with "Blame It On You", he immediately ignited the crowd. Even from the photo pit, the excitement throughout the venue was impossible to ignore as fans screamed every lyric back at him. Throughout the night, Seavey performed fan favorites including "The Older You Get", "Time to Time (Annie)", and "Love Is A Gun" and many more. Similar to Salort, he surprised the audience with a cover of 1980's legendary "Maneater" by Daryl Hall & John Oates, which added an energetic and nostalgic moment. To close out his performance, Seavey performed "Sleeping With The Lights On", one of the standout tracks from 'Second Wind'. The emotional finale had the crowd singing loudly, ending on a strong note.

Closing out the night in Hamilton was none other than Charlie Puth. Born and raised in New Jersey, Puth has become one of pop music's most recognizable singer-songwriters. He's collaborated with several artists throughout his career including Meghan Trainor, Selena Gomez, among many others. Following a four year hiatus from releasing new music, Puth has made his return in March 2026 with his fourth full-length studio album, 'Whatever's Clever!', released through Atlantic Records.

The stage production on this tour was absolutely perfect. The lighting felt warming and welcoming to fans, and had such a clean modern design that made the arena feel magical. At the center of the stage held Puth's iconic white piano, which was one of the night's biggest focal points. To kick off his set, Puth opened with "Beat Yourself Up", a standout track from his new album, immediately energizing the crowd. Throughout his set, Puth effortlessly switched between his powerful vocals, and intricate piano melodies. The piano brough a raw and emotional depth to the performance and having the opportunity to witness such talent made the experience unforgettable.

Throughout the night, Puth kept the crowd engaged with some hit tracks, including fan favorites such as "Attention", "How Long", and "We Don't Talk Anymore". Since releasing music for over a decade, Puth and his audience feel as they grew up together in a sense, with old fans singing along, you can tell how much he has evolved over the years as a vocalist. By the end of the night, fans were left in awe and excitement. Puth delivered a clever, musical performance and his love for his fans made this night a one to remember.
