Walls of Jericho Unleash Chaos at The Shelter

Walls of Jericho undeniably brought the heat to the intimate hometown show at The Shelter, with support from Frozen Ground, Wounded Touch, and Escalation of Force on October 29, 2025.

Starting the night out strong with Escalation of Force, who brought hardcore riffs and crushing vocals to the table. This absolutely set the tone for the night ahead. Wounded Touch followed their set, which in my opinion, is a band every hardcore fan should keep on their radar. They genuinely brought large amounts of energy to the crowd, and had a tumultuous stage presence, unmistakably the definition of hardcore music. Frozen Ground kept the energy pulsing while the crowd awaited Walls of Jericho, and did a wonderful job at it. They kept control of the crowd without lacking anything within their pacing of the set, filling the room with a chaotic energy.

Headlining the show was Walls of Jericho. Candace (vocalist) truly brought an unreal amount of energy to the small venue. This set unforgettably proved why they have been a cornerstone within the hardcore scene. The band ripped through an unapologetically brutal and punchy set, building the crowd up with more and more chaos. This show was without question, a representation of the local Detroit hardcore scene, alive and thriving.
