On October 3rd, 2025, Megadeath released their brand new single "Tipping Point" on all streaming platforms!
"Tipping Point" is the first single and video from their forthcoming self-titled final album, set to be released in 2026 via Dave Mustaine's Trade craft imprint in partnership with Frontiers Label Group's new BLKIIBLK label. This sonically explosive and lyrically intense song begins with a thunderous guitar solo, followed by Dave's iconic voice, which captivates listeners. The accompanying video, directed by Leonardo Liberti, presents a desolate yet hopeful narrative, featuring Dave locked up in a prison and enduring extreme torture, while the band performs in the same confinement. Ultimately, Dave overcomes the darkness and walks away into a new day.
“We all have different ‘tipping points’ and they may vary from day to day,” says MUSTAINE. “I think we’re all being pushed to the edge right now, and it’s easy to lean into that feeling. But it’s important not to let things get you down.”
Earlier this year, Dave Mustaine announced in a social media post shared with his worldwide fan base and Cyber Army that the upcoming album will be the final studio release from Megadeth. The band has sold over 50 million records globally and has been awarded a Grammy® Award, along with 12 additional nominations.
Mustaine made the announcement regarding the album and the accompanying tour through his alter ego, Vic Rattlehead. Additionally, a new memoir from Mustaine, the upcoming album is set to be released next year, with details to be revealed in the coming months.
