Traitors is an upcoming deathcore band that focuses on the darkness of the human psyche. They released their new album Phobias on February 22, full of brutal tracks that sonically capture the feeling of fighting inner demons. With Phobias, Traitors artfully addresses many different kinds of mental battles, such dealing with trauma, self-loathing, isolation, and regret. To celebrate the recent release, Traitors will embark on a North American headliner tour starting on March 6 in Atlanta, GA and concluding on April 2 in Tampa, FL. They will also perform at Warped Tour in Orlando on November 15 and 16. We got the chance to speak to frontman Tyler Shelton about the new album and its themes, his writing process and vocal techniques, the pros and cons of being on the road, and more.
