The country-infused rock band Ghost Hounds is thrilled to release their fifth studio album, Almost Home, through Gibson Records.

The band has also been rolling out striking, cinematic music videos alongside these songs, earning praise from respected outlets like CMT and Garden & Gun, the latter of which premiered the official video for She Runs Hot last week.

Almost Home arrives at a key moment in the band’s journey. After years of success, having toured with legends like The Rolling Stones, ZZ Top, Garth Brooks, and Guns N' Roses, Ghost Hounds have embraced new members and evolved their sound. The lineup now features vocalist SAVNT, guitarist Tyler Chiarelli (formerly with Florida Georgia Line), fiddler Kristin Weber (who has worked with Lorde, Margo Price, and Dolly Parton), guitarist and primary songwriter Thomas Tull, bassist Bennett Miller, keyboardist Joe Munroe, and drummer Sydney Driver. Together, they’ve crafted Almost Home into a powerful reflection of their personal and musical growth.
With this album, Ghost Hounds continue to push the limits of their signature country-rock sound while staying true to the passion, storytelling, and musicianship that define them. Almost Home tells the story of a working-class couple, chronicling their love, life together, and eventual drifting apart—not due to any dramatic event, but simply because time and circumstances pull them in different directions. The album’s lead single, 'You’ll Never Find Me', is a high-energy track about a man post-breakup, asserting his irreplaceable presence. Meanwhile, House a Home highlights the album’s central theme: what truly makes a house feel like home.
One of the album’s most emotional moments comes with 'Long Ride Home', a cover of Patty Griffin’s poignant reflection on grief. Featuring Griffin herself, alongside SAVNT, the song weaves their voices together to capture the raw reality of loss. Another standout is 'Before You Leave', featuring Lainey Wilson. This moving track expresses the deep sorrow of saying goodbye after building a life together, portraying love, heartbreak, and the pain of parting ways.
Most of the songs were written by Tull before the band came together in the studio, where they collaborated to bring them fully to life. Looking ahead, Ghost Hounds continue to evolve—both musically and personally. Almost Home is a testament to love, loss, the concept of home, and the ever-burning spirit of rock & roll. It’s an album that will stay with listeners long after the last note fades.
