It’s been four years since fans have had new music from Chicago’s legendary alternative rock band Chevelle. With millions of streams each month, it’s safe to say they have been itching for new tunes. Thankfully, on March 25th, that itch was scratched as Chevelle released “Rabbit Hole (Cowards Pt 1)” along with a visualizer.
“How about we all put on our tinfoil hats, slam a Dunkies, and go deep doomscrolling. If that sounds like your sorta thing, we’ve got a new song for you called ‘Rabbit Hole (Cowards, Pt. 1).’ Enjoy.” - Chevelle
So, what can listeners expect? Heavy riffage, swelling bass lines, and enough tension to build up to a face-melting breakdown. And, of course, the patented angsty lyrics paired with melodic crooning in the chorus. It’s a formula that has worked for almost 30 years—so why change it? Seriously, with Nine studio albums, two live albums, and tours virtually everywhere, Sam and Pete Loeffler have cemented Chevelle’s legacy with consistently delivering for the fans.

Fans can get excited, as the upcoming album is due out sometime this year. On top of that, Chevelle will embark on a massive North American headlining tour, hitting the road with Asking Alexandria and Dead Poet Society. Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 28th, at 10 a.m. local time. You can also catch them at several festivals throughout the year. See dates below.
