Yungblud Pulls Aerosmith Into The Recording Studio For The First Time In 13 Years For Newest Single "My Only Angel" And Teases New Collaborative EP

Yungblud is further proving why he is next in line for the throne of Rock. On September 19th, 2025 the highly anticipated collaborative release of "My Only Angel" with Aerosmith was unleashed onto the public, creating a ripple effect across genres with the meshing of legendary and, ironically enough, young blood.

The track speaks of desire and love but also the pain in leaving love behind to live a different path for a while, explaining a repetitious cycle of longing and leaving. Most fans have come to the conclusion that the line "Gotta leave, gotta leave, gotta leave you one more time" is representing the act of leaving loved ones when going on tour but longing to return to them in the end. The title itself, "My Only Angel", is even defined by Wikipedia as "a term of affection or endearment, implying someone who is seen as a perfect, pure, or divinely good individual". No meanings of this song have been released on an official capacity, nor has it been commented on by either artist so they remain purely fan interpretation as of now.

Not long after the single's release, Yungblud and Aerosmith's social media pages began posting teaser content announcing a new 5-track collaborative album called "One More Time" set to release in Late November of 2025. Song titles include "My Only Angel", "Problems", "Wild Woman", "A Thousand Days", and "Back In The Saddle".

Aerosmith originally met Yungblud back in 2024 while recording a small contribution to his song "Hello Heaven, Hello" which in turn sparked an obviously fruitful partnership and friendship.

Prior to "My Only Angel" and the recording of the collaborative album, Aerosmith's last studio recorded album was "Music From Another Dimension!" from 2012 that included fan favorites like "Legendary Child", "What Could Have Been Love", and "Can't Stop Lovin' You" featuring country artist, Carrie Underwood. 13 years out of the studio and Yungblud successfully pulled them back over the threshold.

So that is making a lot of people in the rock community wonder.. who exactly is Yungblud and how did he rip the curtain down so quickly?

Dominic Richard Harrison AKA Yungblud is a 28-year-old English singer/song writer born in Doncaster, UK to parents Justin and Samantha Harrison. His first introduction into the scene was in 2018 with his album "21st Century Liability" on July 6th followed closely by his self-titled unplugged album on August 10th of the same year. Since then, we have seen him grow from angsty enraged teenager to a dark romance Casanova for which we can probably attribute to his close relationship with the late Ozzy Osborne.

Yungblud and Ozzy struck up a tight knit friendship in 2022 after Ozzy made a cameo in Yungblud's music video for track "The Funeral". The two artists connected behind the scenes and the rest was, as they say, history. After first meeting Yungblud, Ozzy's wife Sharon Osborne stated that the Prince of Darkness exclaimed "I just met myself". She later said that "The Ozzman just adores him." In fact, Ozzy adored Yungblud so much after the filming of "The Funeral" was said and done, he bestowed upon the young rock star a gold cross necklace to serve as a good luck charm. Fans quickly landed on the idea that this was Ozzy's way of passing the torch of his legacy and fans couldn't be happier with his decision. Returning the favor on July 5th, 2025, during Ozzy's final Farewell Tour with Black Sabbath, Yungblud in turn gifted the Price of Darkness a custom cross to not only return the love Ozzy had given him but to also let it shine as a symbol for decades of iconic music as well as a friendship that was just as special.

Fan reviews of "My Only Angel" have been flooding the internet following its release. Stating things like "It flows real nicely, and Yungblud/Tyler do a great job of blending vocals so at times it's difficult to know who is singing what." (Aerofanatic, Facebook 09/19/2025) and "It's catchy.... I think it'll be a grower." (FuryContagion, Reddit 09/18/2025).

Fans are excited for this new era of Yungblud and UVMAG is here for it.
