X Ambassadors Announce the VHS(X) Tour for Fall 2025

ree

Alternative rock powerhouses X Ambassadors are hitting the road this fall with The VHS(X) Tour—a nationwide headlining run commemorating the 10-year anniversary of their breakout debut album, VHS.  Formed by brothers Sam Nelson Harris (vocals, guitar, sax, bass) and Casey Harris (keys) during their high school days in Ithaca, NY, X Ambassadors officially came together in 2009 with the addition of drummer Adam Levin after a move to Brooklyn. They rose to prominence with the Platinum-certified release of VHS in 2015—a raw, autobiographical record that chronicled the brothers' upbringing and featured massive hits like “Renegades” and “Unsteady,” which have since accumulated over 1.6 billion Spotify streams combined and helped fuel an extensive three-year world tour. To mark the milestone, the band will also release VHS(X)—a reimagined version of the original album—this summer. Revisiting fan favorites like “Renegades” and “Unsteady,” VHS(X) breathes new life into the songs that launched their career, reflecting the growth, transformation, and experience the trio has gained over the last decade.

Their discography has continued to evolve across subsequent releases including ORION (2019), The Belong EP (2020), The Beautiful Liar (2021), and [Eg] (2023)—the latter featuring collaborative singles with BRELAND, Teddy Swims, Jac Ross, PAMÉ, and others.

Outside the band, Sam Nelson Harris has built an impressive résumé as a songwriter and producer, working with artists across genres—from Rihanna, Lizzo, The Weeknd, and SZA, to Travis Scott, 21 Savage, and Maren Morris. His credits include collaborations with Eminem, Jay-Z, Kygo, Machine Gun Kelly, and more. He recently launched his own solo music career under the name Sam Nelson Harris.
