Detroit-based metalcore band is arguably one of the most influential bands in the scene. After they unfortunately lost their singer, Kyle Pavone, back in 2017, the band pushed on despite their hardships. They released their first album since his passing, Darkbloom, in 2022. This year, they have already released two singles, clearly leading up to something big. On July 9th, We Came As Romans released their third single “culture wound”. With this single, they also announced their seventh full length album, ALL IS BEAUTIFUL… BECAUSE WE’RE DOOMED”. You can watch the music video for “culture wound” here.
The past three singles that We Came as Romans has released have been incredible; “culture wound” is no different. This song highlights David Stephens’ singing voice, on top of his incredible screams. The song has elements of a new era of WCAR while also staying true to their roots.
We Came as Romans will be releasing ALL IS BEAUTIFUL… BECAUSE WE’RE DOOMED on August 22nd. The tracklisting is as follows:
ALL IS BEAUTIFUL…
bad luck
lake of fire
red smoke
one by one
culture wound
where did you go?
no rest for the dreamer
b2tm
circling a dying sun
knowing pain
so lost (burning flowers)
BECAUSE WE’RE DOOMED

We Came as Romans will be embarking on the Bad Luck tour soon. Currents, Johnny Booth, and After the Burial will be joining them as support. You can buy tickets here.
