Thrash metal band Warbringer has unveiled their plans for a major 2025 North American tour. “The Vortex of Violence” tour will see Warbringer co-headlining with death metal outfit Allegaeon. The tour, which features additional support from Skeletal Remains and Summoning The Lich, is set to kick off on March 18, 2025, in San Diego, CA, and will run through 24 key cities across the United States and Canada, concluding in Los Angeles, CA on April 12, 2025.
This announcement coincides with the release of Warbringer’s upcoming album “Wrath and Ruin,” which is set to drop on March 14, 2025 via Napalm Records and is available for pre-order here. Fans can get a taste of the new album with the recently released single “A Better World,” which showcases the band’s signature thrash style alongside more melodic and atmospheric elements.
In a statement about the upcoming tour, frontman Jon Kevill expressed excitement for what’s to come. “We are announcing our first run of 2025, where we will be raining down Wrath and Ruin across the USA and Canada! We will be joined by a full arsenal of vicious brutality with Allegaeon, Skeletal Remains, and Summoning The Lich providing fire support. We will be playing new songs as well as old live favorites, and we will be going all gas, no brakes every night, as you’ve come to expect. Get down to the show, mosh like there’s no tomorrow, and enter the Vortex of Violence!” Kevill said.
The Vortex of Violence tour promises to deliver a high-octane live experience, showcasing Warbringer’s signature thrash metal sound along with fresh material from “Wrath and Ruin.”
