Five years into their journey, Volumes have pushed through highs, lows, shifting scenes, and every curveball life could throw at them — and somehow emerged even stronger. Through it all, their loyal fanbase has stayed right beside them, growing with the band and waiting for what comes next. Across more than 15 years, Volumes have built a quiet but powerful legacy — racking up 167+ million U.S. streams, earning consistent praise, and selling out venues across the world. They’ve carved out their own lane in heavy music with a signature blend of progressive, polyrhythmic metal, hardcore energy, and a raw, no-filter attitude.
The Los Angeles lineup — Michael Barr (vocals), Raad Soudani (bass), Myke Terry (vocals), and Nick Ursich (drums) — is officially announcing their fifth studio album, Mirror Touch. The record arrives digitally on December 12, 2025 via their longtime home Fearless Records, with physical copies landing February 27, 2026.
Alongside the announcement, Volumes have released a visualizer for their newest single, “S.O.A.P.”

On this track, the band sounds more locked-in and self-assured than ever. The song hits with thick, industrial-inspired production, a fierce back-and-forth between screamed and melodic vocals, and a massive breakdown that kicks open the door to Volumes’ next chapter. Imagine Meshuggah or Fear Factory going head-to-head with the T-1000 from Terminator 2 — that’s the intensity packed into “S.O.A.P.”
The band describes the song as: “‘S.O.A.P.’ is about pure and impure indulgence — good versus evil, playing with fire or magic. The lines blur. We nurture habits people call immoral, but who decides that for us in the first place?”
