Philadelphia metal band Varials have released the music video for their newest single, “The Hurt Chamber”. The track comes from the band’s upcoming album Where the Light Leaves, which will be released on February 27 via Fearless Records. Stream the song HERE and watch the official music video below:

"'The Hurt Chamber' is a song strictly about being addicted to a high that is inevitably difficult to break," says vocalist Skyler Conder. "Whether that be love, drugs, or a certain type of situation, you become blind to what's happening, all of the bad disappears because it always feels amazing. But it's doing nothing but harming you throughout every time you become close to it. The ache becomes a salvation of sorts. You enter the hurt chamber and you never want to leave."

Additionally, the band revealed that Conder recorded the vocals in one take, and on the first try. The band recalls, "We debated amongst ourselves on trying different ideas and melodies and adding/changing small things, but ultimately decided the original take was too good and shouldn't be messed with."

Catch Varials on their upcoming headlining tour this March, which will conclude with a hometown show at First Unitarian Church in Philadelphia, PA on April 11. Get ticket information HERE.
