March 3, 2026 (Los Angeles, CA) – GRAMMY-winning rock sensations Twenty One Pilots are celebrating an extraordinary week after the theatrical debut of their IMAX concert film with Trafalgar Releasing, Twenty One Pilots: More Than We Ever Imagined, and the much-anticipated release of their viral track “Drag Path.” The duo soared into the domestic box office’s top 5, landing at #4 with more than $6.7 million grossed globally and $3.6 million domestically during opening weekend, while also securing #1 on the Alternative Digital Song Sales chart. This week, Twenty One Pilots achieved their highest-ever Spotify monthly listenership, amassing an impressive 39.5 million listeners.
Manager Chris Woltman remarks, “This year has kicked off with tremendous momentum, encapsulating everything twenty one pilots stand for. It’s the culmination of the past 15 years—steadfastly honoring our global fan base and never skipping steps. ‘Clancy’ and ‘Breach’ have set the tone, embodying the vision of recent years. Entering 2026 with ‘More Than We Ever Imagined’ and the unforgettable moment of ‘Drag Path’ has been truly special. Witnessing our fans’ unwavering support and seeing theaters transformed into live concert experiences has been genuinely inspiring.”
Although the film opened in just 833 theaters across the U.S., it drew overwhelming demand, finishing between Emerald Fennell’s Wuthering Heights (#3, 3,221 theaters) and Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis Presley in Concert (#5, 1,963 theaters). The film also currently boasts a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes’ Popcornmeter.
This comes on the heels of the official release of “Drag Path,” reimagined by the band after the track went viral online. The duo unveiled this new version late last month, accompanied by a music video—featuring visuals from Tobias Gundorff—that debuted at #1 on YouTube’s Trending chart. So far, the song has garnered over 22 million streams and more than 1 billion views across 104,000 creations.
The band is now preparing for a global festival tour, with headlining sets at Shaky Knees, All Points East, Osheaga, and additional major events. Full tour details are listed below, with more dates to be announced.
