Troubled Minds Announce New EP, “Full Circle”, Share Title Track Music Video

Phoenix, AZ’s latest rising pop punk band, Troubled Minds unveiled their latest single which happens to be the title track for their new EP, “Full Circle” due out April 11th. The announcement follows their previous teaser tracks, “The Things We Mend,” and “The Way Back Down” which are all featured on the brand new EP!

Making their mark on the scene with their notable, chugging riffs and a lyrical biting edge, Troubled Minds aren’t ones to shy away from shining a light on self-love and dedication to themselves highlighting their deep connection with their fanbase.  “We want our fans to find genuine love for themselves. We want to demonstrate the idea that working hard, staying persistent, being positive and disciplined can help people find themselves…,” the band says.

Troubled Minds cite The Wonder Years, Transit, and Title Fight as their biggest influences and it’s evident in their high energy tracks showcasing gritty vocals and big riffs.  When asked about the title track, “‘Full Circle’ is a song about the journey of growing up and feeling proud of how far you’ve come.” The band continued, “The lyric ‘Shook a lot of hands and figured out who I am, and who I’m not’ captures the essence of navigating relationships - both good and bad - and discovering yourself through those experiences.”

This new EP is truly a full circle moment for the band. Working with Nik Bruzzese of Man Overboard to produce the EP, the band reminisced on their first concert they ever went to was Man Overboard at The Nile Theater in Mesa. That same venue later became Troubled Minds’ homebase of sorts to kick off and end tours, and it eventually became their most played venue!

When asked about their writing progression throughout the years, lead vocalist Matt Aldawood said, “You could say my writing style has gone full circle.  Back in high school, the bands I was in had this pop-punk/punk vibe with hints of melodic hardcore, and this EP really reflects that.  It’s got a nostalgic feel but also introduces fresh sounds, making it a perfect blend of the old and new.”
