Three Days Grace Join Spotify Billions Club Once Again With ‘Animal I Have Become’

The alt rock legends Three Days Grace, have joined Spotify’s Billions Club for the 2nd time with their infamous song ‘Animal I Have Become’. Being the first ever Canadian band to accomplish such a feat, it just adds to the insanely huge year the band are having.
The song itself has gained a lot of popularity over the past few years, namely because of TikTok stars The Tren Twins, who used the song to promote their brand, which in turn turned a lot of young and new fans on to Three Days Grace. The song was also popular back when it came out, coming from the album ‘One X’, it was truly the song of its time.
‘Animal I Have Become’ also gained a lot more popularity along with the band after they reunited with original singer Adam Gontier, who left the band at the start of 2013 after battling addiction. The band's bassist Brad Walst then said to his brother Matt Walst, who then ended up becoming the band’s new singer. In 2024, it was announced that the band would get back together with Adam, but also keep Matt on the roster, creating a very dynamic duo that hasn’t really been seen before.
Now as a duo fronted band, they released their new album ‘Alienation’ with new hits such as ‘Mayday’ ‘Apologies’ and ‘Kill Me Fast’. And also a new North America tour with bands The Funeral Portrait, Finger Eleven, I Prevail and Royal Tusk. This is just off the back of a tour the band did last year across Europe and also North America.
