THE WEEKND ANNOUNCES MASSIVE ‘AFTER HOURS TIL DAWN’ STADIUM TOUR ACROSS NORTH AMERICA

Abel Tesfaye better known as The Weeknd has finally unveiled the details of his 2025 stadium tour titled ‘After Hours Til Dawn’. The tour begins on May 9 in Phoenix AZ at State Farm Stadium and culminates on September 3 in San Antonio TX at the Alamodome. He also will be headlining the 55,000 cap Rogers Centre in his hometown of Toronto which is sure to be a key day for die hard fans.

The announcement has followed some mishaps including the cancellation of an LA stadium show at the Rose Bowl due to the Palisades and Altadena wildfires shaking up the city. Just a few days ago, he ended his year long boycott with the Grammy Awards ceremony returning to the stage performing with one of his openers for this tour, Playboi Carti. This was in response to the snubs he received for his commercially successful album After Hours, a pivotal album for many people during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. The performance was prefaced by a speech and an apology by Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr.

In addition to Playboi Carti, an artist that sells out arenas in his own right, The Weeknd has also added Mike Dean to the bill. This announcement follows the release of his highly anticipated sixth studio album titled Hurry Up Tomorrow. This culminates a trilogy of albums he’s been pushing out since March of 2020 with the other two titles being After Hours and Dawn FM. The tour's setlist will highlight tracks from these three albums as well as hits from earlier on in his discography. The tour is promised to feature never before seen concert production, leaving people with a set that is sure to be talked about amongst fans for years to come.
