THE RASMUS to play a Charity Gig in Ukraine!

The Swedish rockers just came out with a couple of new singles, namely Rest in Pieces, Creatures of Chaos & Break these Chains,  building up to the release of their upcoming album! The band is currently on tour in North America before heading back to Europe, and their new singles tease a return to form with a heavier sound. Lauri’s vocals are as soaring as ever but this time, we get chunky guitars, double bass drums & even some screaming! The new sound is reminiscent of Hide From the Sun and Dead Letters but with some of the pop sensibilities from their albums such as Rise or Black Roses. The guitar work from Emilia is particularly groovy & chunky, leaning towards a heavier and thicker sound.

The band recently announced they will hold a charity gig in Ukraine on July 19th headlining Atlas festival, and while being the only foreign act. The event is getting ready to receive upwards of 60 thousand viewers, and while war takes place, the band holds its stances and keeps offering support to the cause. The Rasmus has been a band for a long time and they still find a way to be part of the modern rock scene.

After making quite far into Eurovision in 2022, and keeping their momentum as a band going strong today all the way from 1994, the Rasmus keeps blending spectacle and soaring vocals with good messages. Catch their current tour right here!
