On Friday, May 16th, 2025, Seattle-based heavy pop pioneers, The Home Team, has just dropped their irresistibly, catchy new single "Worthy" via Thriller Records. Accompanied by a vibrant music video, the track promises to be the perfect soundtrack for your summer adventures. This new single also kicks off pre-orders for the deluxe edition of their acclaimed album 'The Crucible Of Life', which will be available on all music platforms on June 13th, via Thriller Records. The Home Team, formed in 2013 by drummer Daniel Matson, currently comprises of members Brian Butcher (vocals), John Baran (guitar), Ryne Olson (bass) and Daniel Matson (drums). You can view the music video below.

Vocalist Brian Butcher shares, “‘Worthy’ is a song that was written during the same time as the rest of The Crucible of Life, but just didn’t get finished until after the album was released. This song belongs in the Crucible of Life cycle, but it also indicates a look forward for us in terms of what comes next creatively. We will always try and push boundaries with our music and we hope that is obvious among our listeners and fans.”

Summer is just around the corner, turn the volume up and roll down those windows. "Worthy" is a track that begs to be blasted during sunset drives and even summer party hangouts. The song has punchy drum beats and electrifying riffs, it's almost impossible to not want to get up and start dancing. The track encapsulates the fluttering excitement of early romance, the breathless anticipation and the thrilling uncertainty. The song is emotionally raw and sonically captivating.

The Home Team will be hitting the road this Spring and Summer for Dance Gavin Dance's 'Return Of The Robot Tour', where the band will be performing alongside Belmont and Dwellings. The tour dates are below and if they are playing a city in your area, please go check them out. The band will also be set to perform at the thirty year anniversary celebration of Vans Warped Tour.
