The Funeral Portrait to Release First Ever Live Album, “Live From Suffocate City”

Rising emo-rock band The Funeral Portrait have announced their first ever live album, “Live from Suffocate City,” dropping January 16 via Better Noise Music. The recording was captured at the band’s hometown venue of The Masquerade in Atlanta.

The record will be available on digital and vinyl as well as a CD/Blu-Ray combo that will include extra footage and commentary from the band.

The tracklist will be the same across platforms, except on the Blu-Ray edition, which will not include “Casanova” at the end.

For the rest of the year, The Funeral Portrait, which consists of vocalist Lee Jennings, guitarists Cody Weissinger and Caleb Freihaut, bassist Robert Weston and drummer Homer Umbanhowar, will be touring across Europe before coming back to the states for two shows at The Masquerade in January. The shows in Atlanta will fall on the day of and day after the album’s release.
