Minneapolis-based rock outfit The Failsafe delivers a high-voltage blend of electronic rock and pop-infused vocals, creating a sound that’s both powerful and emotionally resonant. Known for their intense energy and infectious hooks, the band aims to provide listeners with an emotional outlet. “We want to be the band that gives you the song to get you through the last rep of your workout, that rough break-up, or the final stretch of your day,” says frontman Jesse Weber. True to their name, The Failsafe crafts music as a reliable source of strength through life’s challenges.
The band’s sound draws inspiration from heavyweights like Bring Me The Horizon, Bad Omens, and Wage War—balancing aggression with melody in a way that leaves a lasting impression. Working with acclaimed producers such as Andrew Baylis, Cameron Mizell, and Sahaj Ticotin, The Failsafe has built an impressive discography. With over a million streams, standout releases include their single “Dying To Exist,” the Toxic Hearts EP, and their debut album Erasing Color. Their latest track, “Wolves,” signals a new creative chapter, offering cinematic depth, ambient layers, and a hard-hitting chorus.
“Wolves” also arrives with a gripping music video, rich with narrative and emotion. The visuals explore themes of addiction, obsession, and the internal struggle that pulls you back to destructive patterns. “The track paints a picture of addiction, depression… where somehow you always end up coming back as that animal,” Weber explains. The video captures the eerie aftermath of these emotional battles, with disjointed memories and imagery marked by bruises and blood—leaving the backstory open to the viewer’s imagination.
With a strong foundation in live performance, The Failsafe has independently toured across the country, headlined their own shows, and shared the stage with acts like Pierce The Veil, Secrets, Upon A Burning Body, and Real Friends. Looking ahead to the rest of 2025, the band shows no signs of slowing down. Fans can catch their newest release—a cover of Panic! At The Disco’s “The Ballad Of Mona Lisa”
