Minneapolis, MN — The Failsafe, an active rock band, released their cover of “Riot,” originally by Three Days Grace, on August 14. The band also announced their Happy To Be Here tour, scheduled for August.

This release comes on the heels of the band’s cover of Bad Omens’ “The Grey” and their single “Happy To Be Here,” which was recently featured on SiriusXM Test Drive.

The Failsafe brings their signature active-rock style to Three Days Grace’s “Riot,” infusing the song with their own energy and flair. Stand-out vocals and crisp melodies give the track a fresh edge, offering listeners a new perspective on this iconic anthem while remaining true to the spirit of the original.

"Our cover of "Riot" by Three Days Grace is a modern take on an active rock classic. We've upped the vocal aggression and instrumental ferocity for an audience that appreciates the original melodies but likes things a little heavier" Says The Failsafe

ABOUT THE FAILSAFE

Hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota, The Failsafe is an active-rock band that carries an electrifying force. The band stands-out with infectious heavy-hitting electronic rock intertwined with pop-inspired vocals. “We want to be the band that gives you the song to get you through the last rep of your work-out, that last hour of your day, that rough break-up or that long trip you have to take. Essentially a fail-safe to get you through those emotional times.” Says lead vocalist, Jesse Weber about the band.

The Failsafe pulls influences from the likes of artists such as Bring Me The Horizon, Bad Omens and Wage War bringing years of soaring riffs that linger in listeners' minds long after hearing them. The band has collaborated with producers such as, Andrew Baylis, Cameron Mizell, and Sahaj Ticotin on their latest music. Their catalog has garnered over 1 million streams with singles such as “Dying To Exist,” their recently released EP, Toxic Hearts and their 2019 full-length record, Erasing Color. Now, The Failsafe is entering a new era with their new track, “Wolves.” The song puts-forth a cinematic energy, with ambient tones, a brutal chorus and smooth vocals. “The track paints a picture of addiction, depression, something that you're passionate about even, where somehow you always end-up coming back as that animal. It doesn’t take a lot to get you there although it takes you away from it.” Says Weber about the new track. “Wolves” is accompanied by a storytelling music video filled with blurry memories and a tinge of gore. “It’s the aftermath of what happens when you run with the wolves. It’s left to the imagination of what happened before that with accents of bruises and blood.” Weber expands on the new track’s visual.

With independent touring under their belt, having headlined their own tour and sharing the stage with artists such as  Pierce The Veil, Secrets, Upon A Burning Body and Real Friends, the band has no intention of slowing down as they make their way into 2026.
