Recently, renowned alternative rock band The All-American Rejects have announced two mysterious shows in between festival dates. These shows will take place towards the end of March at Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas, NV, and Parx Xcite Center in Bensalem, PA. Besides these shows, they have been set to perform at several festivals such as Central Texas State Fair & Music Fest and Clemson Music Fest after the one-off shows. They have also just performed at Innings Festival in Tempe, AZ on February 21.
The All-American Rejects are a household name in terms of early-2000s rock, creating massive hits like “Gives You Hell” and “Dirty Little Secret” in 2005, which both have garnered over 500 million streams on Spotify, as well as over 120 million views on YouTube each. Since 2011, however, the band has taken a hiatus from creating full-length records and have only released singles since, but they have continued touring and making festival appearances. Their last full-length North American tour was in summer of 2023, the Wet Hot All-American Summer Tour, where they shared the stage with pop-punk legends New Found Glory. In September 2024, the band released their first single in 4 years, “Flagpole Sitta”. With the new single and the mysterious shows in Las Vegas and Bensalem, could these be a sign of another full tour, or maybe a new album? Whether these signal something bigger or these are simply just one-off shows, All-American Rejects fans definitely have something to look forward to in the coming few months.
