France-based metal band Ten56 has been releasing singles pretty steadily throughout the past several months. From all the excitement, fans could infer that another album was on the horizon. On July 11th, Ten56 released their sixth single “I Know Where You Sleep”. With the release of this single, the band also announced their sophomore album, IO, which will release on September 5th. You can watch the music video for “I Know Where You Sleep” here!
The music video starts with a woman performing an infomercial for a made up medication “IO 56”, clearly a play on the band’s name and the album that is now set to be released. The song kicks in after the infomercial with the band performing it in front of a white background. When guitarist Luka Rozaka yells the song title, the video shifts. You see singer Aaron Matts looking out a window. The camera then pans to him outside, digging a hole. After, he is seen in the hole, assuming he was digging his own grave. A giant illuminated sign that reads “IO” looms over him at the very end.
Just like all the other singles Ten56 has released so far, this one packs such a great punch. The song itself is only a minute and a half, but it does the job. It’s such a great little interlude, as it is the fifth song on the twelve track album.
Despite having only one album out currently, Ten56 has become one of my favorite bands over the years. This one is definitely an anticipated release for the second half of the year. Watch out album of the year title, Ten56 is coming for you.

The tracklist for IO is as follows:
Doormat
Pig
Snapped Neck
I Know Where You Sleep
