Starset Unleash New “t r a n s f u s 1 0 n” Video and Continue Their Sci-Fi Rock Journey
The cinematic sci-fi collective STARSET have spent most of their billion-stream career blending music with science fiction, and fans this year were thrilled when they dropped two new songs, “p a r a d 0 x 1 c” and “a n n 1 h 1 l a t 1 0 n.”
Now the band has released the video for “t r a n s f u s 1 0 n.” You can watch it here.
The song opens with impressive restraint, drawing you into a quiet, personal moment before slowly swelling into a big payoff. Each added layer feels deliberate and builds tension, which peaks in one of the most emotional moments on the album. The final stretch hits hard, swapping fragile calm for a crushing wave of heaviness delivered with real conviction. It's a finale that stays with you well after it ends.
Since forming in 2013, STARSET have established themselves as one of modern rock’s most recognizable bands. Their combination of music, storytelling, visual effects, and science-fiction themes has helped them build an international audience while separating them from more traditional rock acts. The band have accumulated billions of streams worldwide, including more than 1.7 billion streams on Spotify, while earning RIAA Gold and Platinum certifications and multiple Top 10 placements on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart.
Much of STARSET’s success has also come from their ability to turn their music into a larger multimedia experience. Songs such as “My Demons” have become defining tracks for the band, while their live performances incorporate elaborate production and storytelling elements that make their concerts feel closer to a science-fiction spectacle than a standard rock show.
That approach has helped STARSET develop an especially dedicated fanbase around the world. Their ambitious live productions have continued to attract large audiences throughout North America and internationally, further expanding the universe surrounding their music.
The band will continue bringing that visual and musical experience to audiences across North America throughout September and October. STARSET is currently touring alongside Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, and Kami Kehoe on the following dates:
