Sleep Token Announces US Arena Headlining Tour and Unleashes New Single "Emergence"

After weeks of cryptic teasers that split their fanbase into different fictional groups, shared sheet music for unreleased tracks, and hinted at several live performances, Sleep Token has finally revealed their plans. Earlier this week, the British alternative metal band took their teasing to the next level by getting multiple U.S. venues to update their social media profile pictures with imagery tied to the band’s promotional campaign.

Now, the gold-certified group has officially dropped their latest single, “Emergence”, the first track from their upcoming fourth studio album, “Even In Arcadia”. The six-and-a-half-minute track kicks off with soulful vocals, minimal piano, and an ambient hum before shifting into fast, electronic beats. Around the 2:40 mark, heavy downtuned riffs come crashing in, leading to a massive, Sleep Token-style climax. The song then fades out with a long, saxophone-driven outro, while the visualizer features a mysterious green banner displaying a coat of arms with three axes. As it slowly burns, the pink, flower-filled landscape seen in earlier teasers is revealed.The album is set to release on May 9th under their new label, RCA Records. Fans can pre-order the album now at sleep-token.com, where a 7-inch vinyl pressing of “Emergence” is also available, along with LPs for the upcoming album, clothing, and more. Revolver is also unveiling an exclusive “Glass of Port” vinyl variant or the standard black pressing from their shop at 3pm EST.

Along with this new “offering”, the mysterious band has announced a U.S. headlining tour in support of the album, set to hit arenas across the country this fall. There’s no word yet on who will be joining them on the road.
