2025 has been the year of Silverstein! Earlier this year they released their album Antibloom. Surprising everyone, Silverstein announced that they would be releasing an additional album towards the second half of the year after Antibloom. The band stated they wrote so much music that it was actually going to be a double release. On September 12th, the band will unleash Pink Moon to the world. In the meantime, they have released their third single off the upcoming album, “Autopilot”. You can stream the new single here!

Just like their second single on the album, this song features a guest vocalist in Cassadee Pope. When asked about being on the song, Pope stated, “Silverstein was such a big part of my formative years so to be on a song with them is surreal. I’m a sucker for a huge catchy chorus coupled with angsty lyrics so as soon as I heard the song I knew I needed to sing on it!"

When asked about the single, vocalist Shane Told stated, “‘Autopilot’ feels modern and vintage at the same time. Musically I think it could fit on ‘Discovering The Waterfront’ but the vocals push it forward into new territory. Cassadee was the perfect voice alongside mine for it, with her understanding of the scene and where it came from but being so versatile and outside the box in so many genres. She absolutely crushed this guest vocal."

This song is a great song for both old and new Silverstein fans alike. Cassadee Pope killed the feature and has a big part in the song, singing the entire second verse and also adding in some of the harmonies. Her voice makes the song to be honest, it adds another layer to the meaning of it. “Autopilot” might just be my favorite single off the upcoming album and I am really excited to see what comes next.
