Savage Hands Drop New Single 'One Last Kiss'
Maryland's alt-metal heroes, Savage Hands, are excited to return with a new single, "One Last Kiss," out September 18 on Oxide Music. Following the momentum of last year's "It's Me" in addition to being featured on SiriusXM Octane, as well as "Bruise," which explores the bittersweet comfort of living with scars, Savage Hands have delivered "One Last Kiss," which is all about connection, about choosing someone when everything else falls apart.
"The song starts out a little softer before swelling into something more anthemic, because that's the whole deal with it," says singer Steven Knouse.
"Most of the song is a balance of that softer beginning with a massive resolution, without either of those halves making the other feel less than."
"One Last Kiss" is a song about finding meaning in one last moment. The song envisions a world on the verge of ending, but rather than make that ending the focus, the song shifts towards the person who stays next to you. "I suppose it's about surrender, about love, about choosing who you want to be there when there's nothing left to hold on to," describes Steven of the track.
"One Last Kiss" is out September 18 on Oxide Music.
